The 9L difference — read this first

Most other “compatible Henry Hoover” bags on the market are just 6 litres — 50% smaller than the genuine Numatic ones. Yes, they’re a bit cheaper. They’re also half the bag. You change them twice as often.

NuClean bags are the full 9 litres — same as the genuine Numatic originals — at a fraction of the price. Fewer changes, less hassle, better value over time. As far as we know, we’re the only seller making compatible bags in the full original 9L size.

NuClean Henry Hoover bags are the NVM-1CH compatible type. They fit all standard Numatic vacuums, including:

Frequently asked questions

Will these bags actually fit my Henry?

Yes — as long as your vacuum takes the NVM-1CH bag type (which all standard Henry, Hetty, Harry and James models do). The collar fits and seals just like the originals, ensuring consistent suction and no air leakage.

What’s the difference between “with” and “without” fresheners?

The freshener packs include lightly fragranced air sticks alongside the bags — drop one into each new bag to keep your vacuum (and home) smelling fresh. The “without” option is just the bags.

Why are some “compatible” Henry bags cheaper than yours?

Because most of them are only 6 litres. The genuine Numatic bag is 9 litres. Other sellers usually don’t advertise the capacity prominently because their bags are 50% smaller. You’ll get fewer cleans per bag, and you’ll buy them more often. Look at the per-bag capacity, not just the per-bag price.

Are NuClean bags really the only 9L compatible bags?

As far as we know, yes. Every other compatible Henry bag we’ve seen on the market is the smaller 6L size. We’re happy to be corrected if you find an exception — but for now, ours are the only full-size compatible we know of.

How often should I change the bag?

Replace your bag when it’s about three-quarters full. Because our bags are the full 9L capacity (not 6L), you’ll get more vacuuming done before needing a change.

Are they good for allergies or pet hair?

The multi-layer microfibre construction traps fine dust, allergens and pet dander — keeping more of it sealed inside the bag and out of the air. The locking collar also prevents that “dust cloud” when you remove the bag.

Is NuClean affiliated with Numatic?

No. NuClean is an independent brand. Our bags are compatible replacements — not manufactured by Numatic. The Numatic and Henry names and part numbers are used for reference only.

Where are you based?

NuClean ships from the UK. All orders are dispatched from our UK warehouse.
